Your commitment to us
- The real key to your success at the North Bristol Post 16 Centre is your role in your own learning.
- Make sure you get all the advice you need to make the right choice of course. You can talk to any member of the team, your course teachers, personal tutor, and Connexions adviser and ask their views. Discuss with them any concerns you may have.
- We expect 100% attendance at all timetabled lessons, tutorials and assemblies. Be punctual at all times.
- Complete all work required to the best of your ability within agreed deadlines.
- Talk to your personal tutor or head of student services about issues as they arise so that we can help you sort them out at an early stage.
- See yourself as our representative when you go on group activities such as field trips or visits, or when you go on work experience. Always aim to give a good impression.
- As your course ends make the most of your achievements with us by planning well ahead for your next step to employment, training or further study.
- If you are in Year 12 or Year 13 and your household income is £30,810 or less, you are eligible for an Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA). Obtain information about this from the post 16 reception.
- Respect the right of other students in our community to learn, both in the classroom and outside it.
- Respect our commitment to ensuring a smoke free environment across our centre and its local entrances.
